- On September 21, 2007, Taylor teamed up with Tennessee governor, Phil Bredesen, to try and swipe out internet sex crimes and keep children safe from online predators. The campaign, which was launched with the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police, lasted for a year.- For Taylor's 18th birthday, her record label gave her a bubble gum pink pick up truck. In January 2008, Taylor donated the truck to the Victory Junction Gang, a children's charity founded by race car driver Kyle Petty.
- Taylor donated $10,000, funded by CMT ONE COUNTRY, to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital after the 2008 CMT Music Awards.
- In June 2008, Taylor donated all proceeds she got from her merchandise sales at the 2008 CMA Music Festival, to Red Cross, the Nashville Area Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and the National American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
- In July 2008, she donated $100,000 to the Red Cross in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, after they had a flood which left many homeless and needy.
- Taylor donated her prom dress, which raised $1,200 for charity, to DonateMyDress.org.
- Taylor lent her support to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal by joining the lineup at Sydney's Sound Relief concert, making the biggest contribution of any artist playing at Sound Relief to the Australian Red Cross.
